Respiratory Allergies(Allergic Bronchitis & Asthma):-

Hypersensitive response of the Respiratory system of a person, to a substance which may be totally harmless, causing excess formation of the mucus and constriction of respiratory muscles

This in turn causes the congestion of the respiratory passage and causing breathing problems and wheezing sounds in the chest.

Respiratory allergies can be dangerous and debilitating. Acute attack leads immediate hospitalization and demands quick decongestion of respiratory passages for smooth breathing or may lead to choking and even death.

Ayurveda Says allergies manifest due to exposure to Asaatmya ahara-vihara. This means, that which is incompatible to a particular individual. They can also result from virudha ahar (incompatible foods eaten simultaneously, ama (indigenous toxins formed due to impaired digestion) and vihar (an unhealthy lifestyle).

As a result of these causative factors, the Kapha and Pitta dosha, along with rasa which is plasma and other inter- and intra-cellular fluid systems including the lymph, and rakta (blood tissue) can become vitiated.

It includes diagnosis of vitiated dosha, prakriti analysis, nadi Priksha and Management of disease.
